Need help on SRM 7.0 Upgrade

Hi,

We are using PI 7.1 as a middleware for ECC6.0 and SRM 4.0. Corresponding SOftware component version is SRM SERVER 5.0.

Now we are going to upgrade the SRM system to 7.0.

What are the changes needs to be done in PI Side inorder to work existing scenario without any problem?

Can we use the same SCV SRM SERVER 5.0 for SRM 7.0? If no, what is new software component to be imported in ESR?

We are using IDOC -> PI ->Proxy scenario.

I could find several SCV's like SRM SERVER 7.0, SRM SERVER IC 7.0 and XI CONTENT SRM SERVER IC 7.0. What is the diff between SRM SERVER IC 7.0 and XI CONTENT SRM SERVER IC 7.0, since these 2 contains Integration Objects ? Correct me, if I'm wrong.

Hi,

The latest version is SRM SERVER 7.0

Import the following components (there are always two version, one for PI

7.0 and one for PI 7.1):

􀂄 SRM Server 7.0 (mandatory)

􀂄 SRM EXT FUNC (optional for Leasing & Asset Mgmt)

􀂄 SRM Server IC (mandatory): due to technical restrictions within NW this

extra content needs to be imported

􀂄 SRM EXT FUNC IC

􀂄 SRM-MDM CATALOG 3.0

This Guide has the technical configuration setup for a SRM system. It also has other technical configurations for SAP systems.

Installed the XI Content relevant to our Software Compone version 'SRM_SERVER'. In our case SCV is 701. So installed SRM SERVER 7.01 and SRM SERVER IC 7.01
