Non-unicode system supports TH and KO printing

Hello All,

Our current system 4.7 running on Oracle datavase on Window NT server, codepage set to 8600 with supported TH and EN.

Can we support EN and KO at the same time on the same server?

Any idea if the code page set to 8600 and 8500 together?

Thank you so much.

Hi Claudia,

Your current language configuration: single code page 8600, allows for Thai and English usage. If you now find you require languages from additional code pages, SAP would strongly recommend a conversion to Unicode.

For more information, please see Note: 73606.

Thanks Safina.

However, due to the critical time constraints, any other better alternatives other than upgrade the system to Unicode system?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Claudia,

Unfortunately no, Unicode is the supported solution when languages from multiple code pages are required. The attachment "I18nCode_Page_Support.ppt" attached to Note: 73606 details this.
