Project Coding Mask - Error

Hi experts,

I'm trying to create a new coding mask, with letter M, but I'm getting the error message:

Projects/WBS elements with the editing mask M still exist.

I've checked tables PROJ / PROJS and PRPS / PRPSS and I haven't find any Project or WBSE starting with M.

What else should I check?

In OPSJ is where I get the error, as this is the transaction where I'm trying to create the new coding mask.

did you check whether M is already existing there or not...

In that case I would have got the message:

"An entry already exists with the same key"

then check OPSK whether 1 is maintained for PL or not

Yes, 1 is maintained for PL.

please check whether any entry exists in Table VSPRPS_CN

please also post the error message no.

yes, most likely the version profile is set to create wbs version released (or other version) and even if you have deleted all entries from PRPS etc.. entries of the version still remain.

you need to delete all version data... stored in tables VSPRPS_CN & VSPROJ_CN

you may use sapnote to delete version data. or delete direct in table.

I've found an entry on VSPROJ_CN table! I will try to deleted following the sap note 160884.
