Dispatcher queue with DIA / UPD requests

hi,

Dispatcher queue has DIA and UPD requests. However, system has many DIA / UPD processes free any time. Is there any parameter settings preventing system to use free processes available?

DIA some times 30 -40 requests are waiting in Dispatcher queue. About 100 to 300 UPD requests are waiting in Dispatcher queue.

Should any RFC quota parameters needs tweaking? Would appreciate any clue on this issue.

Hi Rajgopalan,

You can increase the dialog and update processes through RZ04 or RZ10. The temporary load distribution will be done through RZ04 and the SAP system restart not required. But after restart the SAP , the previous stage will come again.

Please check the CPU utilization , if it is ok then increase the dialog and update process as per the availibility of your Hardware and system performance.

Its resolved. Its due to CPU maxed out in another host, causing DIA/UPD processes waiting
