Setting up the DR server.

Hello Guys,

We are planning to set up the DR server for SAP on Oracle and WIN OS.

I would like to know where could I get the "how to Log shipping.." document.

Also pl can anybody put some light on how would we periodically log ship the redo logs over the two different locations?

It is WIN server OS.

Anybody could please recommend documents for the same.

Hi,

You have two possible options to install Oracledata guard scenarios; failover and switchover. If your landscpace requires very high availability, I recommend you switchover scenario. Because of you didn't noted what Oracle release you are running on, I attached both Oracle 10g and 11g documents. Please find the data guard installation scenarios and the links below;
