Item to be picked by WM (picking quantity cannot be entered)

Hello,

I encountered the following error "Item to be picked by WM (picking quantity cannot be entered)" during the creation of the delivery in the WM environment.

Originally, the location was IM managed but now the location is converted to WM environment. As a part of system configuration testing, the WM configuration is done and tested with certain other movement types (311) and it is working as expected. When we tried to do a standard sales order, delivery (601) and TO processing, the system is not allowing to create delivery due to the above reason.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Intercompany STO for WM Following Step below.

1.Maintain Data in Material/Article master of WM View

2. Create intercompany Purchase order. T.code - ME22N

3.Cretate Outbound Delivery .T.code -VL10B

4. Change Delivery T.code - VL02N then save

5. Create Transfer order &confirm T.Code- LT01,LT02,LT03

6.Then Go to Change Delivery Post Goods Issue. T.Code -VL02N

Thanks to all of you for the reply.

Since I was getting the error message during the creation delivery( first screen) VL01N so I was not able to navigate to any other in screen in delivery creation and I did not make any entry in the pick quantity field.

I debugged and figured out the the pick quantity was getting populated automatically in a user exit of which i was not aware .

Hi

Since the delivery is WM relevent you can not pick the qty like inventory.

- LT03 - Create TO with reference to outbound delivery

- LT12 - Confirm TO

- VL02N - Post goods issue

You have to follow above steps to complete the picking & issue for the Sales order.

-Please check whether u have transferred the stock to bin.

-As one of friend mentioned process of WM, it will follow when you will create delivery.

Hi,

I think you are trying to put pick quantity that is why this error.

As you have integrated WM then you can not pick qty in delivery it should pick automatically through WM process that is TO

Process is like this

Sales order >> Delivery >> Create TO and confirm TO >> PGI

when you create and Confirm TO pick qty will reflect in delivery picking tab.
