Hi,
We have configured GRMG lite to monitor URLs in SOLMAN, just to check the availability. We can see the availability data in RZ20. The RZ20 geeting alerts when URL is down. But having trouble with central auto reaction, it doesn't send emails when alerts are generated. We have assigned auto reaction method method CCMS_ONALERT_EMAIL_V2 with following values.
Execution method: Periodically in dialog process
Parameters:
Sender: SAP user id
recipient: email address
Recipient typeid: U
React_on_alerts - RED
In the RZ20, the status of auto reaction method shows "Ready/Ready to run', but no emails are sending.
I appreciate your help
Thanks,
Kris
Hi Kris,
When you look at your open alerts (press the [Open Alerts] button and then [Display Alerts]), are the alerts in status ACTION_REQUIRED or ACTION_FAILED? If they are in ACTION_FAILED then it means the AutoReaction Method failed to run or failed to send the email. The number one mistake is that for local AutoReaction Methods (where Execute Method = "Periodically in dialog process") the ARM runs in client 000 as user SAPSYS; that means SAPConnect must be configured in client 000, and the SENDER user must be in client 000 (and have an email address defined in the user master) as well. And if you specify a distribution list for RECIPIENT, the DL must be defined in client 000 too.

Hi,
1. chk the job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP runnning, if error what is the log, hw frequent this job is running, as standard for 30 min
2. Check have you properly maintained the CEN configuration, all the local ccms registered in CEN.
3. if you maintained MTE in local, your auto reaction also should be in local, nt in CEN,
Please check and update,
Thanks,
Jansi

Hi Kris,
Please check if the dispatching jobs are scheduled properly. For GRMG alert, you can configure local reaction method in your central system to trigger the alert.
Thanks,
Jagadish.
