Despite having followed

Note 1469675 - MaxDB 7.8: Installation/System Copy based on SAP Kernel 7.0*

and having copied the respective sapdb.inf to the installation directory I still get

INFO       2011-07-01 18:56:16.405 [iaxxclib.cpp:114]
           CChangeCWD::~CChangeCWD()
Working directory changed to /install.

File sapdb.inf does exist. Will use the commands in file sapdb.inf.

Will there be finally an installation master DVD for EHP1 that can be used to do system copies without fiddling with XML files?

Hi Natalia,

thank you for answering. I don't have time to wait till monday for an answer and since this is not a production system affected I can't use very high priority.

I went through this notes, there were no "dos" line endings in the file, it could be read nicely.

Eventually it worked after I removed sapdb.inf from the installation directory. So apparently with 7.8.02.23 this is no more necessary - respectively other errors occur that need keydb.xml to be changed.
