Mime Repository in 4.6C?

Hi,

can anyone help me find the mime repository in <b>R/3 4.6C</b>. I am looking for an equivalent to the <b>se80 -> Mime Repository</b> button in <b>ECC 5.0</b>.

Dear Elvez,

I think there is NO Mime Repository in 4.6C. It just came with SAP Web AS 6.20. I guess MIME objects in 4.6C just exist in context of IACs (Internet Application Components used with ITS)

thanks for your reply. If there is no mime repository, how can I access the mime objects of internet services, such as for example ESS_GLOBAL?

Hi Elvez,

goto SE80

-> choose 'Internet Service'

-> select 'ESS_GLOBAL'

-> choose 'Theme 99'

-> open folder 'Mime-Objects'

there you'll find all Mime-Objects of the IAC in the subfolders (like Images, logos, styles, etc.)

I know the mime objects are there, but I am not able to edit, for example, style sheets. I get the following message: <b>Operation not supported by the selected object</b>. What should I do?

Hi,

I think you can't edit it directly. You have to work around by 'creating it new' (by uploading from frontend).

you can also store mime object from transaction SMW0 (zero at the end)

MIME repository is a place which stores all the images,javascripts ie .js files and .jpg files etc
