Hi APO Expert,
I want to transfer data of info-cube from APO Production system to APO Test system.
Secondly can we transfer (transport) Process chain and Jobs from APO Production system to APO Test system
If yes ,How to do that.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
There is no direct way to load between infocubes in test and production. How you can put together an interface quickly.
Download the data from your production cube using transaction listcube.
Create a datasource to load data from the file. Use the same structure as the file you downloaded from Production. Load the file to the test server and load the data from the file to your infocube in test. Remember to set the date fields to load without any conversion.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hello,
Procedure is the same irrespective of the file type. Download data from the cube using transaction listcube or by right clicking and the infocube and choosing 'display data' from RSA1 transaction. In the screen, choose download to file. Use CSV as the delimiter.
Go ahead and copy this file to test server. In the test server you should have created a new datasource to read from this CSV file (ensure the format matches with CSV file structure). Then connect this datasource to the infocube via infosource and update rules. You are all set.
Hope this helps.
Thanks & Regards

Hi
Iam not sure how you would be able to transfer data from production infocube to test. But then to transport the process chain , you can create a transport and backmigrate it from production to test . Take help from basis team to do the same . And yes it is perfectly okay to transport process chain from production to test
Thanks
