SPNego user mapping when windows login and portal login names vary

Hi Gurus

Wanted to configure SSO SPNego in portal!!

My portal at NW7.0 SPstack at 17 and polrtal's UME is ABAP engine. at ECC6.0 SP17.

But my windows domain login names (user name_ first name) are different with portals login names (XY0empid).

for example: BALAJI_NAMPALLY<---->BN01234

My questions are :

Is it possible to use SPNego?

if it is, then i may need to map users.

kindly suggest how to map or proceed.

you can import SAP ABAP backend users into portal. Thatway you don't need to create users in portal and portal authentication happens against SAP ABAP system
