Is CTS+ configuration a prerequisite to Quality Gates ?

Hello,

I have heard that CTS+ has to be configured first before I can configure Quality Gates on my Solution Manager system.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Dear Judith,

According to SAP Note 1256490 it states TMS has to be activated.

So this would cover ABAP systems.

The Note also makes reference to Note 1256490 - regarding an issue for NON-ABAP systems and CTS+,

which would indicate that TMS is the prerequisite transport for ABAP systems, but it can be infered for

non-ABAP systems CTS+ is the required transport.

CTS + for AS JAVA product is there in your landscape.

Hello Judith,

We are expected with QGM to be able to control the entire SAP environment, and as a result its mandatory for us to have a central point of managing ABAP and Non ABAP stack transports.

Inside SolMan, this feature is achieved using the CTS+, hence you will require to configure it, if you indeed plan to control Non ABAP systems and use QGM.

CTS+ is used and required to be confered if you are planing non abap system for your Quality Gate Project

e.g PI EP
