Delivery number deleted but archived

Dear Sap Gurus,

User has deleted the outbound delivery , I checked in the change mode no documents exist bcos it is deleted .

Checked in the table for the deleted delivery number no records found.

But in document flow of the invoice the particular delivery number shows it is archived?

Please let me know if i delete then it should come as deleted why it is displaying a s archived?

Please explain gurus

Deletion of a delivery cannot be result in the archiving of it (in standard system), this is nonsense.

First, it's strange that it was possible to delete the delivery w/o cancelling the invoice (I'm not sure this is the case but I understand this way).

There might be inconsitencies in the system, e.g.note 406693 is about such cases.

I suggest you should search for notes which are relevant to your system and problem, you can also contact SAP AG.
