No authorization to delete log entries in table TPSTAT

I am creating a new role for the team responsible for SAP transport. In this role, there is 2 transactions in the menu of this role: STMS_IMPORT and STMS_MONI.

With this role, the team is not able to delete an entry for a transport when an error occurs, for example, when they fill in a wrong client number).

The error message is: No authorization to delete log entries in table TPSTAT.

What is the authorization object related to this ?

Best regards

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

This is security related question, not related by Oracle. But you can find the answer, below;

Go to "System -> Utilities -> Display Authorization Check" menu path and find the required authorization when you get the error message. As a second way, you can use ST01 "Authorizaton Check" in order to identify, required authoriaztion objects, belong to the process.

Hi,

Please add authorization object to S_TRANPRT to the role so that person wo got this transaction is able to delete the transport.

Thanks
