GRC 5.3 Workflow problem

Hello All

I have setup a standard WF where a req.

Manager --> RoleOwner

with an Escape route if the Manager is missing and a Detour if the RoleOwner is missing.

I had a Risk test on Level Manager - but now it has been decided that the Manager dont have the knowledge to Mitigate Risks!

So I need a new Detour if the Req. has a Risk? it must goto another path.

I have made a Detour with SOD Vialations but it is not "pulling" this option.

I cant seem to trigger the detour?

have someone set something like this up?

Hello Kristian,

If I understood you correctly, you are trying to Detour BEFORE Manager stage. Since it is the first stage, you cannot use a detour to avoid it, the detour is evaluated when you are leaving a stage, not when entering it.

I had a similar situation here, but I maintained the need for Manager approval anyway (as a confirmation that user needs what he is asking for,) and then, if there are SoD Violations I detour to a path that includes Internal Controls Departament. By maintaining the Manager stage I hooked the detour in it.

Also, check if you have Risk Analysis On Request Submission parameter turned on, or Risk Analysis Mandatory in the Manager stage.
