Inspection lot qty change after the UD has given to the lot

Hi,

My client has entered the wrong qty in IN-Process inspection lot.Production order qty is 850 but client entered 1800(there is no restriction to enter the inspection qty in In process inspection).Given The UD for the lot.posted 850 qty is send to the client.

In system it is showing error in the inspection lot qty is more than production order qty.

please,suggest solution to change the lot qty after UD has given.

What Qunatity you have entered in UD?

Hi pawan,

we have to enter 850 but user entered 1800 qty.( order qty is 850 only,but lot created for 1800 ).

we did UD for 850 qty.

Please let us know the lot origin?

is it Manual or Automatic???

Please specify Inspection type also.

Check QAC1 and try to change the quantity.

Hi,

If you are doing 03 inspn: which is non-stock relevant, it shouldn't cause any problem. As I see, it is only a warning message.

Put a comment anywhere, if possible - only for the sake of clarification. Regards, KrishnaM

Thanks for your response,it is not causing any problem,but in QA32 it is showing extra qty.
