DC not available in KMC-CM SC

Hi

I have added the SC KMC-CM to my Development Track so that i can use the KM API in my DC.

Now i create a Webdynpro DC.

and want to add the tc/km/frwk dc as used DC.

But nothing is avaiable under the KMC-CM SC when i click on Add used DC.

Why is this happening ?

Hi

You are right KMC-CM is not Checked In.

I can see the following SCA in TrackData

1.KMC-CM

2.SAP-JEE

3.SAP_BUILDT

4.SAP_JTECHS

But in ChekIn Tab KMC-CM is not available.

Any Clue why it is not available there?

put that sca to inbox of CMS, then checkin at CMS UI.

Hi Rajendra,

It is mandatory to keep SCA file in the CMS inbox directory in server location. Check the CMS inbox whether KMC-CM SCA file is there or not. If not there, then copy the same version from Server system or Service market place. Once you put the KMC-CM SCA then you will able to see under check-in tab. then you need to import to devepolment tab. After that you will able to see the dc available in it in NWDS.

thx.The SC is checked in .

Now i am able to see the DC in the KMC-CM SC.

For KM File Upload i did not want to create the External Library for KM Jars so i was trying to use the KMC-CM Component.

But Now i think i am struck with com.sapportals.portal.security.usermanagement.IUser for creting the Resource Context.

is it also available in some SCA or i have to create the External Library only for adding the com.sap.security.api.ep5.jar to my DC?

Hi Rajendra,

This jar will be present in this SC, SAP-JEE.

When adding Used DC(from Active) look for the dc com.sap.security.api.sda under the SC sap.com_SAP-JEE_1

Dont know which version of NWDS you are using..please cross check once in this SC and revert back.

If you dont find this jar file in this SC its better to create an externa library DC and the jar file.

What version of NetWeaver are you using? I see tc/km/frwk in the KMC-CM SC when I click on Add Used DC.
