How to identify a sample for multiple sampling positions?

Dear Experts,

I have a die where i will take a sample from each die head every 4 hours.For ex:I have 20 die heads in a particular die so i need to take 20 samples every 4 hours.And I need to identify the sample i.e from which die head a particular sample has been drawn.The results has to be recorded against that particular sample.Can u suggest a way to map this scenario?

Explore the time based inspection point.This will solve your perpose.

Ok i will go with time based inspection points.I take say 20 samples per inspection point.How can i relate this sample to the machine id i.e the die head?

When you create a Inspection point manually there is option of giving name to inspection point...You can give die name as inspection point name.
