Hi All,
We are using folowing process in our project:
1. Cash Sales
2. Scrap Sales
3. Export Sales
4. DEPB License Sale
5. Consignment Process
6. Customer Return (with Material Replacement)
7. Credit Sales
8. Quantity Contract
9. Credit/ Debit Memo
10. Assets Sales
11. FOC Sales
12. Inter Company
13. Third Party Sales
14. Stock Transfer
I would like to know how many Pricing Procedures need to be configured in System?
Tnks & Rgds,
Yogi
Hi Yogi,
I think, it is better to have one pricing procedure for each process. This will give you more flexibility if you want to change or add condition types later and it will effect only one process rather than multiple.
Thanks,
Manohar.

One Pricing Procedure each for Cash Sale, Scrap Sale, Export Sale, Consignment Sale, Customer Returns, Contract, Credit Memo, Asset Sale, Inter Company, Third Party & Stock Transfer. For debit memo, you can make use of Customer Return Pricing Procedure.
You can address DEPB sale from Export sales pricing procedure itself. Similarly, I am not sure how are you addressing FOC sales currently. If ED is not involved, then you can make use of export pricing procedure itself. Also on Asset Sale, I presume, this would be handled via FI. If not, depending upon the requirement, you can have a new pricing procedure for this also.
thanks

Hi Mr. G. Lakshmipathi,
Thank You for your quick response.
I was doubtful thats why i asked this question in forum.
Also, It's really helpful about including scenerios like Export Sales (w/o Tax) and DEPB Sales, under single PP, and Returns with Debit Memo, in another PP.
FOC process is where client is making some charity (could be domestic cutomer or export also).
Assets sales is under talk whether will be created as asset type material for SD sale or directly handled by FI? (I would also require help in this regard during Config..if handled by SD).
Could Scrap sales be included with Asset Sales in single PP?
Other scenerios, like, Cash Sales, Consignment, Third Party, Inter-Company, STO, and Credit Sales need to have seperate PPs for each.
More words of advise would be appreciated.

could be domestic cutomer or export also
If domestic, check the implication on tax and ED. If that is exempted, you can make use of export pricing procedure here also.
Could Scrap sales be included with Asset Sales in single PP?
Unless you are very clear on how you are going to address Asset sale, I cannot confirm but please note for scrap sales, you should have condition types for TCS which is not applicable for other sales.
thanks
G. Lakshmipathi
