Message SOLAR_DOC021 in MAC OS x Version 10.6.7

Hello,

I'm using a MAC with OS X Version 10.6.7 and a SAP GUI for java 7.20 rev 4 (Version ID 072000040400).

So i can't open a documents of Solution Manager throug the transactions SOLAR01 or SOLAR02, in both I receive the message:

The document cannot be displayed

Message no. SOLAR_DOC021

I have the Microsoft Office 2011 for MAC in this machine. I saw the solution for this message to the users of Windows, but for OS X I din't find anything.

Hi Jose, did you solve your problem?

I´ve Mac OS 10.8.3, with SAP GUI 7.30 rev 1 and I have the same problem.

Could you open documents on SOLMAN?

I can view (not open) just office 2007, but with documents with .docx (office 2010) cant open or view.

Please, if anyone have a solution please let me know!

Hi Jose,

In general you just need to apply patch 6 for Sapgui 7.20 at one test PC and

test whether you have then still the same problem.

If it still persists, you should create at this PC an automation

trace as mentioned in note:

1. 158985 Automation: How do I generate an automation trace?

with the options - Automation

- Control Manager

- Frontend Services

- Mass data tables

- Mass Data transfer

Then the trace should show where is the source of the problem.

I don't find a patch 6 for SAPGUI 7.20 at SAP site.

Hi Fabricius,

As I told you at the first message, my SAPGUI 7,20 is for JAVA. So there isn't the commands in the note 158985. I believe that this note it is specific for windows.
