Shipmet cost cost center

Dear Experts,

I have done standard config for ship cost .In ship cost Account assignment category is coming as K and we need to enter cost ceter manually.

But now we want cost center should not be mandatory and there should not be any account assignmnet category in shipment cost document.

It is possible though standard configuraton? If not any development needed for this?

Hi,

Do not go for any enhancement as standard configuration is available for this.

IMG >> Logistic execution >> Transportation >> Shipment cost >> settlement >> Maintain account assignment category

Select item category K and click on detail then for field Cost Center set as optional/display/hidden

Note : Usually item category K is cost centre and for this cost centre should be mandatory

I suggest you define new account assignment category as Z and make settings as per your requirement and same account assignment category you can assign in shipment cost type item categories in T_56

You can use the BADI BADI_SCD_ACCTG. See Note 576046 - Modification: User exit for account assignment determination. See too Note 746550 - INFORMATION: => LE-TRA-FC-ACC (Account assignment) and related notes.
