Gurus,

I am planning to install XI 3.0 and need to size the server for the installation.It would be great if you can explain how to use quicksizer for XI installations and what is SAPS in sizing.I can also see initial sizing and throughput - Advanced sizing , which one i need to use?

Thanks

Instead of looking for it in the forums, just look for it in the SDN menu search bar (the frame at the left). You'll find tons of documents on the matter. For example:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/72e2bb90-0301-0010-e883-c39...

Hi,

additionally check the quicksizer tool. You can find it under http://service.sap.com/quicksizer, and it provides you an approximate idea of how your machine should look like depending on the amount of messages exchanged and the size of these.

--->start Quicksizer

Hope it helps,

BR
