Problem with SPAM/SAINT update (SAPKD70042) - ECC 6.0 - SQL server 2008R2

Hi gurus, I am trying to install SPAM/SAINT update, however when I run SPAM transaction, it stop at DD IMPORT phase.

I update my kernel at level 291. My release is 7.00, although before I was updating my kernel and testing until I install last version, but problem continue.

plz gurus in the house. I have the same problem too. I am trying to update from 39 to 42. the delay in the import_proper phase has exceeded 6 hours and still counting. what should i do? Do you suggest i restart it or leave it for another x hours (dunno wot x is here tho'). it does not seem to be processing anything from the logs i've checked. and sm13 ain't doing any update.

Yes restart the installation, before starting check the User Account Control in OS level it should be low

Hi,

6 hrs is too long a runtime for SPAM/SAINT update. I would suggest to check the logs at the OS level.

..\usr\sap\trans\tmp and ..\usr\sap\trans\log.

Check the last updated log in the tmp folder. Should contain info about the error.

As per logs there are no errors only one warning which can be ignored.

Check the detailed logs SPAM --> go to --> import logs --> spam/saint update --> click on the error log for more logs and paste log.

Hi, my log is get from goto - import logs - SPAM/SAINT Updates, it is a warning, however update does not continue, stay Import Proper for many hours.
