I would a dynamic source filename and I my goal is to have that name be exactly the same on my target system.
So mainly I have FTP to FTP adapter, and I want the filenames to be the same on both ends, I have tried several things, but I am not having much success, can someone give me the details on how to configure this?
Thanks

Hi Skip,
If you are using XI 3.0 SP16 and above then you can use the adapter specific message attribute option in your sender and receiver file adapter.
If you switch on this option, you can see further options like the file name which when switched on will retain the same file name in your target system.
Pls do note that you can give any file name like test in the file name scheme as its a mandatory field.
Cheers
JK
