SRM to cFolders - Config

Does anyone have any documentation on how to setup cFolders to be used with bid invitations. I've searched the SRM forums and everyone just indicates its standard config. I cant find anything in the IMG related to cFolders except for a BADI.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello Justin,

Please add cFolders entry in Define Backend Systems.

SRM -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic setting -> Define Backend Systems. You see the collaboration area in the Document tab of Bid Invitation.

CPRXRPM 4.00 is what we have for SRM Server 5.5

Hi Justin

Prerequisites to create collaboration from bid invitations are as follows:

In SRM

1) Define RFC connection for cFolders system in SM59(with connection type as 3 and proper log on authorizations)(Pl ensure that you should be able to enter in cFolders by using "remote log on" once the RFC connection & other necessary settings are maintained)

2)As mentioned in previous mail by Masa, define cFolders system as backend system. (fill in the required details like logical system, destination, system type as PLM cFolders.....)

In cFolders:

1)Create RFC users for connection between SRM and cFolders with role SAP_CFX_USER (The same should be there in SRM and to be used for RFC connection in SRM)

2)All the users should have the same user Id in SRM and cFolders. Similarly all must have the role SAP_CFX_USER assigned (to have collaboration access).
