Hierarchical ALV WHich displays kefigure(Netvalue) total in header node

Hi ,

I am having a requirement to display a table in hierarchical manner using ALV,In which each key figure total of child nodes to be shown in Parent node.

Example:

key Netvalue

p1 400

c1 200

c2 200

p2 300

c3 200

c4 100

If i use subtotals its giving extra row to show the values,i don't want that.Please help me to get the display as above.

Hi,

I guess we cannt do that way. there is no option to display value in parent in hierarchial alv.

When you make a field in a node as parent and as hierarchial colum at parent level then we cannot display any data at header level..like calculations you have mentioned...

You can do it using TABLE UI element not with hierarchial ALV..

Have you tried this way in ALV..

Before you bind the table to the ALV node...You need to calculate the totals and subtotals for that header and item

and update the total for that header against TOTAL column..
