Connect ABAP system with SLD

Hi, i have problem connect ABAP system with SLD.

The SLD: Netweaver AS Java (EP)

The rz70 try connect to SLD sow message error:

RFC call failed: Error when opening an RFC connection

Please help.

Check the RFC SLD_UC .. in SM59 ..

and make sure you have given automatic RFC des in RZ70

Hi deeptss, the RFC_UC configuration is OK but test connection failure .

The configuration RFC SLD_UC is:

hostgateway: hostname_portal

service TPC: sapgw02 (02 instance portal)

delete SLD_UC

and go back to RZ70 .. make sure the gateway host and service are correct and reactivate it ..

It will regenerate RFC ..

Hello Eli,

You have to ensure that the service entries are maintained for the RFC to work fine. Only when service entries are made in the services file the RFC can reach the target system. Place the RFC connection test log here to analyse the error

hello Eli

You need to specify the FQDN of the SLD host and the gateway information of SLD host.

Then activate using RZ70 it should generate the RFC and start communicating with the system.

Generally gateway is SAPGW<instance number >.

Hi,

First check the default password for the user OSS_RFC and also check the host maybe wrong host name entered to connect to SLD. check SM59, SMSY and RZ70.
