Error: Incorrect encoded sequence detected

Hi Experts,

We are having a scenario from Websphere to PI, It is giving "Incorrect encoded sequence detected" error while running with some data containing special characters. How can we overcome this situation. Please suggest.

Ask correct encoding value to your Vendor and use the same in PI.

Can we know how to do the encoding? Either we need to use a JAVA/XSLT map? If so, can you help us with a small piece of code.
