We have big number of company codes. We need to create minimum roles and assign them to the users. But I would like to restrict the user to a particular company code. I want to do this without creating the same set of profiles for each company code. We are using ECC 6.0. Please revert with the possibilities.

You may use structural authorization to cater for different company codes. Each company codes can be defined as an org unit / department, so that you just need to create those generic roles with different org unit assign to users.
Same roles can be assigned to users, but in the structural authorization you can define different group of users based on the org unit.
