"Creation date" FIELD is getting updated

Hello,

We are using MDM 7.1 SP6.

Whenever I am trying to change any existing record the field "Creation date" is getting updated automatically which is not suppose to be the case.

As i know there is an option called "writable one". If we mark it as YES, the field will never updated regardless of any change in the date record.

I am not able to change the value on the field "Writable one" from YES to NO.

Please suggest !!!!

what is the field type for "Creation date"?

If this is defined as CREATESTAMP then the field will not be updated when we change the records.

If this is defined as TIMESTAMP then remove all the fields other than MDM ID and this should work.

Hello Abhi

Creation date will be updated in you used " "Replace" during the import records.Try to use "update all mapped fields" or "update NULL fields only" instead "replace".

"Writable once" property you can change if your repository will be unlanched(stopped).
