Variant Configuration

Hi Guru's

I am trying to create a configurable profile for the material through tr.code : cu41 & after entering the name of my material i.e. laptop 5 when i clicking on enter I am getting an error message "material laptop 5 is not defined for variant configuration" please help......

Check the fields related to material ( variant) filled or not. This is simple question . Post if need help.

HI

Goto MMR material type is configurable material and General Item category group -0002 and Item category group 0002

Create the Characteristics-CT04

Create a Class- CL02

Assign char to class

then create configuration profile CU41

choose the material you created

specify material and press enter

specify priority-01,

configuration profile name(CONFIG_PROF_LAPTOP)

specify the class

specify the organizational area(V) - SD

click on Class Assignment push button

specify class

save and exit.

If you want to configure the material, set the Configurable indicator in

the material master record.

Check at material master data basicdata 2 material is configurable activated or not.
