Hello,

I was able to get past the error.

I think i gave wrong env variable for ORACLE_HOME..

Instead of /oracle/SID/112_64, I typed /oracle/SID/112_64/ .

The extra "/" must have caused the issue.

Thanks !

Hi,

you should not use ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/SID/112_64 for bugfix application or as the SW install target!

You install to /oracle/SID/11202 and use this path as ORACLE_HOME for runinstaller and opatch/mopatch.

You use ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/SID/112_64 only for the "runtime environment" (PATH ...)

This is because of the new strategie to deliver patchsets as full installations.

Later you will work with /oracle/SID/11204 (i.e.) so that you can already install the new software

while the system is still running on the old release. Check the new versions of the installation notes for Oracle 11g.

Hi Siri,

Firstly, did you patched mopatch with 2.1.8?

Secondly, why don't you install latest patch SAP_112022_201105_AIX.zip?

Best regards,
