Conversion Spools into PDF, Mailing, ADOBE Reader 10 (X)

Hello,

we convert spools into PDF with the function CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF

and then send the file as attachment to a mail receiver.

In the transaction SOST we can see the PDF-mail attachment of the created mail.

A user with ADOBE Reader Version 8 is able to display the PDF mail attachment correctly within transaction SOST.

A user with ADOBE Reader Version 10 is not able to see the PDF mail attachment correctly within transaction SOST. Some page contents are missing.

Does anybody have an idea what goes wrong ?

I am not sure, but you can turn the protection mode "Off" for adobe reader 10.

For turning Protected mode off go to Edit/Preferences dialog by selecting "General" from the Categories list and clear the check box "Enable Protected Mode at Startup".
