Hi Experts,
We are planning to upgrade our SAP SCM 7.0 system from SAPKY70004 to SAPKY70008.
Please share your experience/ suggestions, so that it will help us go for smooth upgrade.
FYI - As of now we are using only APO - DP/ SNP/CIF& PP/DS modules.
Regards,
Sri.

Even though this is only a patch upgrade, It's best to test all processes at least once in Development. Ideally you would also have a regression test environment where you would run all batch jobs and verify if there is any impact.
Ensure that your Livecache Build is also upgraded if needed to maintain compatiability.

Hi Sree!
We recently did an upgrade of our internal SCM system in Brazil from SAPKY7002 (delivered by installation) to SAPKY70008.
We downloaded the update package via the Marketplace.
Then we applied via SPAM and the upgrade was very smoothly.
In any case, test the upgrade in a Dev. System. Optionally have a TEST system to play around with this without any impact.
When you are sure, go ahead in your Dev. and then transport or execute the upgrade in your Prod. System.
For more information on this, I would advise you to open a thread in the BASIS Forums. (SAP Component for this is BC-UPG)
