Stock Transfer QM Stock

Hi,

This is regarding stock transfer of QM stock.We have posed the GR and the Inspection lot is generated. The lot Qty is 10000 pc.

In this case we would like to partially move the QM qty to another storage location , ie 500 qty out of 10000 Qty. under the QM stock.

Pl suggest how to transfer the partial QM qty.

Hi Santha,

The requirement is not very clear.

a) If you want to move the stock from one storage location to other, you can use QAC2 but the txn will push the total stock to the different location and the status of the stock would remain the same. i.e its still in QI stock only

b) If you want to transfer partial stock to unrestricted or blocked stock(to a different S.loc), then donot give a UD but put the quantity in the Inspection lot stock and change the S.loc on the right side of the quantity tab and save the lot.

While doing stock posting you can change the storage location dynamically as it is editable field no matter for which storage location lot is created .You can partially post the lot to another storage location...

U can chnge st location on stock posting screen

Post the stock 500 to say unrestricted select storeage location which u wish to transfer the stock next to the qty.

Hi

I think you are asking transfer quality stock to quality stock.

QAc2 will move entire stock to new storage location.

In such case , First post all the QTY as desired.

Activate 08 inspection type and thean do the transferposting for 500 qty.

This will create new lot with 500 stock and desired storage location
