Contract price overwrites manually entered price in SC

Hi,

We have contracts for some product categories. They are there to default a supplier. But the price in these are 1 EUR. The user then changes the price in his/her free-text SC. But when the PO is created in ECC automatically, the PO has the contracted price instead. Is this std behavior?

We are in SRM 7 classic scenario.

Hi

Please check in ECC for following customizing

SPRO>MM>PURCHASING>ENVIRONMENT DATA>DEFAULT VALUES FOR BUYERS

Also check the entries in SU01(Creator of PO) under Parameters Tab for EVO Settings

Thanks

Hi,

If you have assigned the contract as source of supply then when PO is created the price is taken from the contract.

This is standard feature.

I am not sure what exact steps you have done to comment if its standard behaviour.

Hi Sam,

The steps we have done is the following

1. Contract with material group only (no material nr) is created with dummy price 1

2. Free text SC is created with this material group and gets price 1

3. Price is changed before submit to 10

4. PO in ECC still has price 1.

1. sc created with price 1.0 and refered product category contract

2. before approval did u change the price as 10 in the sc

3. now PO creates and shows 1 only ?
