Issue in CVC Creation

Hi Experts,

I am trying to create CVCs but not able to do it. when I check in the log it gives 3 erors

Characteristic value for characteristic XXXXXXX not filled

Value AAAAAA not contained in the master data table for XXXXXX

No new characteristics combinations were loaded

Please let me know what should I do to avoid this error, and how to create a CVC.

When creating CVC's make sure all characteristics have a non-null value. Your second error is because you have ticked the 'Check BW Master Data' option - so system is checking against BI characteristic values. If this is not intentional, avoid ticking this option.

Hi ,

this can be caused through a bug. Please check if note 1452746 is already implemented.

Additionally have you flagged 'Check SCM master data' ? In this case system tries to check the values in SCM master data of target planning object structure.

If you don't select 'check SCM master data' flag then there is no check on master data and system asks to maintain the values for characteristic XXXXXX in next screen manually.

I have checked with untick on check master data tab , it it is not working and still getting below mentioned eror , while creation of CVC

Hi ,

I think you selected flag'Check BW master data' while creating CVC.If so system doesn't allow to cretae CVC if the

infobject value which you maintained not in BW master data.So check whether BW master data exist for infoobject of

error message or unflag 'Check BW master data' while creating CVC.
