ORDERS05 metadata and received IDOC structure differ

Former Member

Hello,

that´s crazy:

Idoc upload into IR is fine. ORDERS05 structure is used in an interface. Mapping is ok!

When we start with the scenario and send an ORDERS05 from the R/3 system we have a mapping error.

Looks like the EDI_DC40 SEGMENT is the problem:

This is a part of the segment in the meta data:

Any help is welcome!

Best regards

Dirk

Hi Dirk,

This may be due to mismatch in imported metadata and generated IDoc.

Try re-importing the metadata in XI. For this delete the existing metadata and import it again.

Hello,

before sending IDOC we made a metadata upload in IDX2 for two systems.

Sys. A -> Import of IDOC into SWCV

Sys. A -> IDX2 upload

Sys. B -> IDX2 upload

IDOC sent from Sys. B (with differing structure)

Is metadata upload in IDX2 "overwriting" mapping in IR?

Now in IR it looks fine (fits to payload)

Dirk

Hi Dirk,

you have (unfortunately) two places where IDox are places at XI. The XSD at IB Repository, the metadata at the XI adaper (IDX2). So, if you change a IDoc at R/3 you need not only to post the XSD to XI than additional the metadata - just by deleting the old. Usually they will be requested automaticly by XI when the first instance of an IDoc reaches the adapter.
