Avoid Inspection lot creation through status profile of QIF

Hi,

Requirement: System should not create an inspection lot for consignment stock while doing goods recipt for consignment purchase order, even though if inspection is active at material master and quality info record (Inspection is active at inspection control tab).

This need to be controled with use of quality info record status profile.

Have you looked at using dynamic modification for this?

Hi sathishtry,

I dont think it would be possible for system not to create inspection lot from user status settings.

Inspection lot generates after the MIGO postings and system status updates once inspection lot gets generated.

Hence if you dont want to create an inspection lot then you should not activate the material master inspection type or Settings in QI info.

However you can check the user exit QPL10001 for the requirement.

Thanks for your reply.

We are not only considering the QIF status profile. We will do some code changings in the program with respective to the status of QIF.
