SAP_Print through smartform differents format as .txt or word

Hi all,

Currently I am using smartform to print differents notification types in SAP-PM with T.Code: IW52 -> It has been just configurated correctly and it appear as .pdf.

But my doubt is, there is the possibility to save those information-file as .txt? to downloup it out SAP in order to open it after this file with .word to have the possibility to edit some fields.

So, SAP do not support otherthan PDF format to save smartforms on desktops???

Hi,

SAP is not a text processing tool. You have 2 choices:

1) get some software that can process PDF files (other than Adobe Reader) in edit mode. I´ve read in technical magazines about software that convert PDF files into .DOC or .TXT

2) download the information as XSF (XML for Smartforms and is a XML scheme to output the content of a form). In the XSF output there´s no information about layout, only the processed data. More about this under www.sap.com/spp (search with BC-XSF).
