do not do from console in 7.1

For starting and stopping MDM servers you can use the following tools:

SAP Microsoft Management Console (SAP MMC) or SAP Management Console (SAP MC)

SAP MMC and SAP MC are the generic SAP system management tools, which are installed

automatically with any SAP system (SAP MMC on Windows; SAP MC on UNIX).

Hello xuhuanjun

Could you check all busy ports in your system, please?

Because SA MDM is using some ports for it work.

From installation guide:

https://websmp102.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001668482008E

"MDS

Port 59950 and three sequential ports

in the range 2000 - 9999 for every

loaded repository. You can configure

the repository ports using the MDM

Console.

MDIS

Port 59750

MDSS

Port 59850

MDLS

Port 59650

The SSL TCP/IP ports, starting from MDM 7.1

SP07, are:

MDS

Port 59951 and three sequential ports

in the range 2000 - 9999 for every

loaded repository. You can configure

the repository ports using the MDM

Console.

MDIS

Port 59751

MDSS

Port 59851

MDLS:

Port 59651

"

all this ports should be free before you start MDM

if some applications have used this ports your should deinstall it or change port number in MDM

Do you have enough free space on your Hard drive? Could you check it, pleace?

Hello xuhuanjun

Check mdm ports.

Maybe firewall(antivirus) blocked mdm ports or in your system working some allication which used mdm ports.

Another case:

if you DBMS has installed on another physical server you don't have network connection to it or that conection blocked firewall(antivirus).
