SNP Heuristics not considering Safety Stock / Target Stock Level

Hi All:

We have SCM version 7.0.

Have a few questions on 4 KF in SNP.

1. Safety Stock (Planned)

2. Target Days' Supply

3. Target Stock Level

4. Safety Stock

I am trying to implement a business requirement. The business user wants to use the Target Stock Level to enter target inventory in time-buckets for different location-product and SNP take this value into consideration during SNP Heurisitcs run. I changed the property of the Target Stock Level to Input/Output and assigned Targ. Stock level method value 2 in the location-product. When I entered some values in the Target STock level in the SNP Planning book and ran the SNP Heuristics, it did not consider the target stock level value at all.

I tried the same logic I mentioned above with Safety STock (Planned) as well as Safety Stock. I used the Safety stock method MB f=in the location-product.

Excepting for safety stock method SB, none of the method seem to be working. What am I doing wrong? Could some one help me pl?
