Hello,

if you use SAP GUI 7.10 you have to copy the file C.\Windows\saplogon.ini from your old PC to your new PC in the same directory.

If you use SAP GUI 7.20 the path for the saplogon.ini file is C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\SAP\Common\

The above locations are where they are typically stored.(default) If you still cannot locate it, you may want to look and see if your machine has a variable called SAPLOGON_INI_FILE defined. Some places, ours included, use that as a central point for the saplogon.ini.

I also do not know if there is any issues if you are taking the INI from a different version. (say from 7.10 into 7.20)

For me it was:

C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\saplogon.ini

on 710

Hello,

If you have GUI 7.20 you can find the location of the saplogon.ini in [Note 1442303 - SAP GUI 7.20 - replacement of SAPWORKDIR|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1442303]

We're using GUI 7.20 with an "older" saplogon.ini without any problem.
