Get ECC idoc number from PI

Hi All

IS there a way to get the IDOC number created in the ecc system from PI? A FM or something you can call the get the ecc idoc number?

IDoc acknowledgements is the way to go.

Configure ALEAUD and it should respond back with the IDoc number and what happened to the IDoc in SAP

Could u pls elaborate your scenario?

If it is an inbound interface, IDoc number can be retrived in to PI by using RBDSTAT report where an ALEAUD Idoc would be sent to PI with the details.

I need a RFC or something to call with the idoc number created in PI and retreive the idoc number that was created in the ecc system.

EDIDC table will hold the IDoc number, so you can build some RFC and call this RFC from PI,but you have write good logic here to get correct number.

i never done this,so pls take help from ABAPer.

To get the Idoc number created in ECC, you need to configure ALEAUD messages in the receiver system.
