Hello,

1. "I have recently upgraded my Maxdb 7.6 to 7.8.02.21 and patched without any problems. I downloaded the DbanalyzerParamCheck cfg file "

Why you are using the DB analyzer version 7.6.00.35 to check the parameters of the database version 7.8.02.21?

I recommend to use the DB analyzer version 7.8.02.21 located in <Installation DB Path>/bin

Please post output of the commands:

sdbregview -l

xinstinfo WX1

dbmcli inst_enum

dbmcli db_enum

As wx1adm:

env

2. Are you SAP customer?

if yes => Did you follow the SAP Note 1353266 part III section 3. ?

3. Which version of DbanalyzerParamCheck cfg file did you download?

Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

Thanks Natalia

Why you are using the DB analyzer version 7.6.00.35 to check the parameters of the database version 7.8.02.21: even if i use ver 7.8.02.21 it still references to ver 7.6.00.35.

Hello,

thank you for posted information.

1.

I asked : "Did you follow the SAP Note 1353266 part III section 3. ?"

Please see section "III/ Activities prior to the upgrade" of the note, " 3. UNIX/Linux".

There additional recommendations to check/correct the environment of the user <sid>adm and/or sqd<sid>.

Did you follow those steps?

Post the output of "env" of the user <sid>adm .

2.

You should have the DB analyzer of 7.8 version in /sapdb/WX1/db/bin.

Run /sapdb/WX1/db/bin/dbanalyzer ...

It will show "The Performance Analysis Tool, Version 7.8.02.21".

Hi there,

there's a typo in your command:

dbanalyzer -d WX1 -u SUPERDBA;test_1 ....

should be

dbanalyzer -d WX1 -u SUPERDBA,test_1 ....

(replace ; with , to separate the user name from the password)

regards,

Lars

Could you please load the system tables before ?

E.g. via

dbmcli -d ... -u system,... load_systab

Lars
