I need to insert a condition for eg if the qty>1000 display =USA in the column adjacent to it or else display NULL.Can someone help me out with this.?

If by SAP Query , you mean BEx, than this is not possible in SAP Bex Analyzer, You can achieve this by BOBJ , by adding a If statement, for new created measure in the report based on Bex query/universe.
