Date textview element: calendar icon not showing up

Hello,

In my web dynpro application, I have a form containing one date type field. In the layout of my view, I can see that the field is recognized as a date field and thus a calendar icon is displayed next to the field (same for other date fields in the view). However, when testing the application, the field is editable but no calendar icon shows up.

Has anyone ever encountered that kind of issue?

Hi.,

Check whether the Attribute Input help may be Deactivated..!! go to Context and select the attribute to which date is binded and under properties., check the Input help type : Automatic For DATS type it will automatically give CALENDAR search help.

else As suggested , check for patches., log off and log in again and check.

Yes Laurent Gosuin ,

even i do face that problem.

I got that problem when basis consultant is installing some patches in server. That time i got this problem.

But i am sure, you will get calendar help on date field if you press F4 button, even if no icon . That time my problem solved after couple of days once basis consultant installed another patch.
