Dear All,
We are planning to use CPS for GATP scheduling. My question is it necessary to define all the condition type like LOAD, PICK etc for CPS. Becuase we are planning to use only pick/pack condition type based on time stream. But we want other dates to be taken from ECC. Is it possible to have only pick/ pack taken from CPS scheduling and rest to be taken from ECC. Please need answer urgently.
Thanks
Hi,
Please see SAP help for CPS
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm2007/helpdata/en/26/c2d63b18bc7e7fe10000000a114084/frameset.htm
You have set configurable process scheduling so that the system calculates at least the following derived date types:
¡ Unloading date (ELDAT)
¡ Delivery date (LFDAT)
¡ Goods issue date (WADAT)
¡ Loading date (LDDAT)
¡ Material availability date (MBDAT)
¡ Transportation planning date (TDDAT)
Thanks,

Hi,
No, you can not mix the scheduling in APO with dates from ECC (except the unloading times from ship-to is read from ECC). You can use just pick/pack durations with CPS, but the other steps - loading, transport, unloading durations, calendars will be empty then...

Michael

Hi
No, you cannot. Once you use GATP, all Transportation & Shipment Scheduling (using CPS or other technique) is done in APO.
