Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me how can a text element be create in Adobe ? I have a requirement where I need to check an IF condition and print a text else print some other text. This is quite easy in Smartforms and script too but I am not sure how do we do that in Adobe because the text node allows only 3 types of texts- Module, Include and dynamic text. Could any body please explain this ?
Thanks
Abhi
Hi Abhi,
First thing, there is a forum dedicated to Interactive forms by Adobe (even for non-interactive ones ), where you could get a quicker help (ask the mod to move the thread).
To answer your question, why don't you do the IF before calling the Adobe form, and pass the right text to it? Another solution is to use FormCalc or JavaScript inside the Adobe form, but I don't advise it for that simple requirement.
