Create SRM confirmation to ECC PO through 'Employee self-service'

Former Member

Dear Experts,

We use SRM7.0 with classic scenario.

We create SC that creates purchase requisition in R3.

In R3 the purchaser creates PO from the PR and then the SC creator need to create confirmation in SRM.

Somehow the ECC POs are not available in the SRM in create confirmation through Employee self-service but only through Central confirmation.

In case we create backend PO directly from SC, the PO available through 'Employee self-service' and 'Central confirmation'.

Why is that?

Thanks,

Lori

With Employee Self Service role, requestor can only create GR confirmation for their own Shopping carts. When you choose SC# and click Confirmation, PO# will be picked automatically by the system for the selected SC in the Confirmation screen. If you do not know the SC# then click Confirmation link and enter PO# in the next screen.

But with Central Receiver role, user will be able to see all open POs created in ECC irrespective of whether PO is created from SRM or directly in ECC.

Hoipe this helps you how to process GR confirmation with different roles.

Dear Jagadish,

Thanks for your answer.

I know that with Employee Self Service role, requestor can only create GR confirmation for their own Shopping carts but even though the POs that created from Purchase Requisition are not available for the requestor.

POs that created from SC directly are available for the requestor as expected.

The problem is only with PO that created from PR (that created from SC).

Thanks,
